UofL MNTC Micro Nano Technology Overview

This short video, aimed at 5-12 grade, gives a basic overview of micro/nanotechnology. The video centers around the researchers working in UofL's Micro/Nano Technology Center's cleanroom using examples of the work that they are doing, as well as their predictions about future advances, to help stimulate student interest in science and engineering.

MNTC Partners with Ky DataSeam

The UofL Micro/Nano Technology Center (MNTC), a founding KyNN node, in partnership with the Kentucky-based non-profit, Ky DataSeam have produced a series of short videos aimed at increasing student interest and awareness in Science and engineering. The videos, centered around the MNTC's cleanroom facility and the researchers working there, present some of the cutting edge research that is taking place in Kentucky and is intended for a 5-12 grade audience.

Ky DataSeam will distribute these videos throughout 52 Kentucky school districts on over 9000 computers, reaching nearly one-third of students in the state. The videos will also be available on the Ky DataSeam and MNTC websites. For more information please visit:
