St Rita Catholic School MNTC Tour (21)
On Dec. 7, 2010, 16 5th and 6th grade students from St Rita Catholic School visited UofL's Micro/Nano Technology Center. This tour was the result of the KyNN and MNTC's partnership with the Louisville Science Center. -
2010 INSPIRE Program Students Tour the MNTC (30)
June 11, 2010 - The participants in the 2010 INSPIRE program toured the micro/Nano Technology Center today. Twenty-five high school seniors spent the morning learning about micro/nano technology, engineering and UofL research. -
Okolona Family Resource Center Visits MNTC (2)
June 10, 2010 - Thirty-six 5th grade students from the Okolona area of Louisville visited the Micro/Nano Technology Center. -
JCPS Student Technology Leadership Program MNTC Tour (27)
June 7, 2010 - The Jefferson County Public Schools Student Technology Leadership Program wrapped up their summer camp this year with a tour of the UofL Micro/Nano Technology Center. These students and parents spent more than an hour with the Center's engineers learning about the Micro/Nano research that is being conducted at the center. -

Busy Day at the MNTC (8)
June 8, 2009 - The MNTC received the first of two new furnace stacks this week. This system will greatly improve the thin film capabilities of the center. When operational this system will be capable of boron/phosphorous diffusion, oxidation and annealing on 4 and 6 inch substrates. -
J. Anderson Elementry Visits the MNTC (1)

Nearly 100 seventh graders had a taste of campus life today touring the facilities at the MNTC and, between events, enjoying the beautiful weather beside the fountains. -

KYNNET KRUNCH Sponsors IntelliSense Demo/Training Session (3)
On May 27th and 28th, the KYNNET software initiative (KRUNCH) sponsored a visit by John Bloomsburg from IntelliSense. Faculty, staff, and students participated in a hands-on training session introducing them to IntelliSuite, a software package for MEMS layout, design, and simulation. -
Tully Elem. Engineering is Elementary Club visits the UofL MNTC (8)
Sixteen very excited second and third graders visited UofL's cleanroom yesterday along with seven of their teachers. The Engineering is Elementary Club members were shown a brief overview of MEMS and microtechnology by Joseph Lake before donning their bunny suits and going into the cleanroom for a short tour. -
UofL MNTC prepares for new arrival (4)
The UofL MNTC cleanroom is preparing for a major equipment installation. Two furnaces stacks will greatly expand the thin film capabilities available to KyNN researchers.
